Safe Arrival

Matt called me briefly this morning. They ended up having two 6-hour flights and one 4-hour flight with stops in between. So the whole trip took about 20 hours total. They have training for a couple days in Kuwait, then they wait for three to five days for the transportation to their base. Luckily he’ll be able to buy a phone card and check in with me occasionally. Internet access is a little more difficult. There is an 8-hour time difference. So far the food is pretty good. He even got some Indian food, so apparently they aren’t going to be stuck with the typical institutional food all the time. That’s all the news I have so far.
